\r\n He is a first-generation American, born in Las Vegas to Irish parents who came to the United States in search of a better life. Tighe grew up in Henderson and eventually attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, originally pursuing a degree in history.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n

\r\n Tighe became involved in politics at 15 as a volunteer for the Bernie Sanders 2016 Presidential campaign. He was eventually an intern for the Adam Laxalt gubernatorial campaign in 2018 and has worked inside both political machines. He came to reject them.\r\n <\/p>\r\n\r\n
